Fastest Way to Build Muscle – A Must Read

When it comes to the fastest way to build muscle, there’s a lot of conflicting information out there.

For starters, there’s the school of thought that says to build muscle fast is to train every single day and make sure each workout lasts a few hours (in order to totally exhaust the muscle).Vince Delmonte - Fastest Way to Build muscle

That’s totally the wrong way of going about it.

Only bodybuilders who are shooting up performance enhancing drugs can handle that kind of workout volume and frequency.

The reason being is that the drugs allow their bodies to recuperate at an amazingly fast rate.

But for the natural who wants to know the fastest way to gain muscle, following that kind of weight lifting workout simply will not produce the results you’re looking for.

What’s the secret to packing on muscle fast, then?

Well, there are actually three things you absolutely must do.

The first is intensity.

Your workouts need to be short but incredibly intense. You want to make your muscles scream for mercy. Normally, these type of workouts only last at most, 30 minutes.

Also, these kinds of workouts will include a lot of isolation movements to exhaust the muscle quickly.

A great read for this type of training is Mike Mentzer (although he is definitely at the one extreme of this whole intense, short workout training concept.)

The second thing you need is plenty of rest.

And if you want the fastest way to build muscle, it’s by letting your body recuperate.

See, the gym and workout itself merely provides the stimulus your muscles need.

When you rest is when the magic happens. So make sure to include plenty days of rest. Avoid doing too much cardio, if at all. And be sure to get plenty of sleep every day.

The third and final key to the fastest way to build muscle is to have a proper diet in place.

You’ve got to feed your muscles to make them grow. That means ensuring they have plenty of nutrients to draw from to get bigger and stronger at a moment’s notice.

You never know when you’re muscles are going to need those nutrients. That’s why you’ve got to give your body a steady supply of fresh food every 3-4 hours.

This comes out to about five or six meals per day.

And each of these meals needs to have a TON of protein in them. Protein is the building block of muscle, after all.

That equals about 30-50 grams per meal.

Also, as far as diet is concerned, make sure to eat a post-workout meal. Studies show that there is a window of about 30 minutes to 1 hour after you train that your muscles are in a prime state to receive those muscle-building nutrients.

So as you can see, the fastest way to build muscle isn’t to be the typical “muscle-head” who spends all day, every day, at the gym.

In fact, it’s the exact opposite. Get in. Workout intensely. Then get out.

Then it’s just a matter of getting rest and good nutrition.
