How to Get Six Pack Abs… Fast!
If you’re serious about getting a six pack, then pay special attention.
Most of the advice you’ve probably heard about how to get six pack abs is completely backwards.
See, there are quite a few myths when it comes to getting that flat, toned stomach you can proudly and
confidently show off at the beach.
Some of them include:
- “To get ripped abs, all you have to do are 1,000s of crunches and sit-ups.”
- “Dieting (a.k.a ‘starving yourself’) is the key to getting a flat stomach.”
- “All you need is a weight loss pill to burn some fat off, and then you can work on losing only your
belly fat."
- “Don’t eat past 6 p.m.”
- “Eat only low-carb foods.”

You might’ve of heard of some or all of these myths. But the truth is they’re all WRONG.
If you’re going to see your abs, you HAVE to get your body fat percentage down. For guys this is around 10%
and for women it’s 16-18%.
And to get your body fat percentage that low, you’ll need to do three things…
How to Get Six Pack Abs… Finally!
These three things are pretty simple. But they require a commitment on your part to do them on a consistent
basis.
Here they are:
1. Good nutrition (this means eating foods that help you burn the fat that’s covering your
midsection)
2. Strength training (this includes very specific exercises that will turn your body into a fat-burning
furnace!)
3. Cardio training (but not conventional cardio, where you run on the treadmill for hours on
end)
If you can picture getting abs the same as building a house, then good nutrition is the all-important
foundation. It also plays a big role when it comes to how fast you get your abs.
And notice how I’m calling it “good nutrition” and not dieting. That’s because dieting is no fun and requires
far too much willpower. Plus, most diets leave you feeling hungry and tired (and, in my experience, with a big headache). In fact, if you read
some of the articles on this site, you’ll see that good nutrition means eating frequently, ensuring you don’t starve yourself and always feel
satisfied.
The second key factor if you want to finally know how to get six pack abs is weight training. Now if you’re a
lady reading this, don’t worry. This doesn’t mean you’re going to have to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Weight training helps boost your
metabolism, build muscle, and burn fat!
What’s more, you don’t have to spend hours at the gym. Even just 30 minutes is enough to get the results
you’re looking for.
Finally, you’ll need to do cardio. But again, this doesn’t mean jogging for hours on end. Instead, you’re
going to have to do short, but super-intense, cardio sessions. Done this way, 20 minutes is more than plenty.
And get this: There’s a ton of research out there that proves that this kind of intense cardio is far
more effective at revving your metabolism and turning on your fat burning “switch” than any other kind of cardio (check out other articles on
this site to learn more).
So there you have it.
Check out the rest of this site for more specifics on each of these three “ab building” components. And
realize that getting six pack abs does take work. There isn’t a magic pill you can take to make it happen instantly (although I certainly wish
there was).
Simply put, learning how to get six pack abs doesn’t have to be hard. The concepts are fairly simple. It’s
putting it all into action despite a busy schedule, that’s tough. But if you make the commitment and find a way to eat right and train, there’s
no stopping you.
In fact, plenty of people have gotten a six pack in just 3 months when they truly committed to doing whatever
it took. There’s no reason why you can’t do it either.
To a leaner, healthier, and happier you,
