Burn Ugly Belly Fat With These Tasty Low Carb Foods
Low carb dieting isn’t necessary to achieve six pack abs.
Nevertheless, if you want to try a low carb diet, I’ve compiled a list of low carb foods that can help you in your journey to creating that
lean, toned midsection you’ve wanted all these years.
And don’t think these foods are only good on a low carb diet. These low carb foods can also be a part of a balanced diet as recommended in
Mike Geary’s Truth About Abs eBook. The only difference is you would add the suggested carbs to one or more of these low carb foods.
Now before I give you the list, know that these low carb foods fall into one of four categories:
• Proteins
• Veggies
• Nuts
• Oils
And as a guideline, stay away from most condiments as they contain carbs in the form of high fructose corn syrup – one of your #1 enemies when
it comes to getting ripped abs.
Also, low carb means staying clear of sugary soft drinks and juices. Drink water or unsweetened iced tea instead. And if you absolutely need
to have a little sweetness in your tea, use Stevia, an all-natural sweetener.
One more thing you should keep in mind when you go grocery shopping is to read the labels on EVERYTHING. Many times foods that you would never
think have carbs, do in fact contain a considerable amount.

Proteins (choose healthy, lean proteins):
Turkey
Tuna
Chicken
Salmon
Tilapia
Eggs
Whey protein powder
Veggies:
Kale
Spinach
Broccoli
Asparagus
Romaine lettuce
Green beans
Brussels sprouts
Zucchini
Squash
Nuts:
Almonds
Walnuts
Macadamia nuts
Pine nuts
Oils:
Extra virgin olive oil
Coconut oil
Flaxseed oil
One thing you should notice in this list is that there aren’t any unhealthy low carb foods. By that, I mean low carb foods like bacon, butter,
ham, sausage, etc. that contain considerable amounts of saturated fats.
Although these cholesterol-laden foods are low carb, they aren’t healthy for your body. Your fat sources should come from nuts and oils, as
they’re rich in heart-healthy omega 3s and 6s.
And don’t forget… if you do decide to try a low carb approach, don’t do it for a long period of time. Stick with it for a week or two max, and
see how your body responds and feels. After that, switch to a balanced diet, such as the one Mike Geary recommends in his Truth About Abs
eBook.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, eating only low carb foods is not at all necessary to get a six pack.
Instead, what holds most people back from losing belly fat is eating too many modern-day processed foods, including fast food and ‘junk food.’
Many of these foods contain chemicals and additives that mimic the female hormone estrogen, which in turns makes it easier for your body to store
ugly belly fat (more on this in another article).
Hope this helps in your fat loss efforts.
To a healthier, happier, you!
