Muscle Building Supplements – Do You Really Need Them to Get Six Pack Abs?
Nowadays, it’s hard not to leave a health food/nutrition store without feeling absolutely confused.
That’s because there’s literally hundreds of muscle building supplements making over-the-top promises. Many of them will claim they can
literally cause miracles almost overnight, while others claim they’ll help you lose tons of abdominal fat just by taking a simple pill.
And with so many fat loss and muscle building supplements out there, it’s tough to decide which ones you really need (that actually work) and
which ones are a complete waste of your time and hard-earned money.
The truth is, if you’re eating organic, non-processed foods for each one of your 5-6 meals, you don’t need any of those fancy “lose fat now!”
or muscle building supplements.
In fact, all you’ll need is a good multivitamin and a “green” supplement that ensures you’re getting all the minerals your body needs for its
everyday functions.
And by “green” supplement, I mean a supplement like Greens+, which is a formulation of super-healthy “green” foods, like chlorophyll, alfalfa,

Once you’ve got a good multivitamin and “green” food supplement, the next thing you’ll want to consider is a ‘meal replacement’ to serve as
your fat loss and muscle building supplement.
The reason you’ll probably want to consider this is because it can be tough to eat real food for each of your meals throughout the day.
Sometimes life just gets in the way and there’s no time to prepare a healthy meal.
Or perhaps you just feel tired after a long day of work and want a quick and easy, healthy meal.
That’s where meal-replacing, muscle building supplements like whey protein come into play.
Whey protein is great when you’re busy or don’t have time to eat a full meal. Just mix it in some milk, or even plain water. And if you really
want to get fancy, you could make a fruit smoothie and add some whey protein powder to it.
Finally, the last thing you should consider is a protein bar.
Now, before you go out and buy the latest and greatest bar, claiming it has 40g of protein per serving, you need to realize that most of these
“health” food bars are complete and utter crap.
Most of them are just sophisticated candy bars. Instead, you should aim to eat bars that are made up of mostly natural, organic ingredients
like nuts, raisins, soy and honey. One great bar I love and serves as a great snack to curb your appetite is a Cliff’s Bar. Many of them have a
good amount of protein from natural sources. And best of all, it’s all organic. No nasty chemicals or artificial sweeteners like high fructose
corn syrup… which can wreak havoc on your health and your waistline.
So there you have it.
Stay clear of most of the muscle building supplements out there that claim to transform your body into a ripped, muscle building machine
overnight.
Most of them are a waste of your time and hard earned money. And remember, all you need for a lean, muscular body, with ripped six pack abs is
real food. Not fat-burning or muscle building supplements.
